Kalpesh’s core strength is Product Development and Trade Execution. As the founder and CEO of CapVeda Capital (India) Advisory Pvt. Ltd. He has helped CapVeda create a niche by capitalizing on market inefficiencies, providing the first mover advantage.
Kalpesh has Conceptualized, Designed ,developed and tested the systems which underpin CapVeda’s market neutral intra-day trading approach by using sophisticated, proprietary statistical and quantitative strategies to deliver superior returns.
He is an experienced trader, investor and fund manager with in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of the Indian capital markets.
Has proven experience with full life-cycle strategy creation from research, through factor analysis, real-time statistical analysis of market data, modeling of intraday price changes, and strategy formulation to development, back testing, pricing and valuation.
He has previously traded in several asset classes: agri and non-agri commodities, precious and non-precious metals and energy The investment strategies he developed in commodity trading have been refined and are now being effectively deployed in trading equities.
Presently, CapVeda provides research on a non-binding basis, in the quant space, and its strategies have managed to outperform its relative benchmark index.
Kalpesh holds a post graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Pune University
Ankeet has more than 6 years of experience in Financial planning and control, Operations and Compliance,. He heads the Compliance, Risk and Operations department at Capveda comprising a team of 6 people. His profile involves to be in charge of all strategic operational, risk and compliance activities, business planning. His earlier experience at Capveda was being in charge of all strategic financial & financial control, forecasting and analysis, management systems, setting up the internal control framework, taxation, MIS & management of all operating funds containing working capital of the firm. He was also responsible for all the settlement and other back office operations of the firm.
His role prior to moving to Capveda was with ICICI Securities Limited and Odyssey Capital Pvt. Ltd (Group company of Brics Securities Limited).
He is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
×Prior to joining CapVeda, Kavita Singh headed the Institutional Sales team for Mumbai at Deutsche Asset Management. Prior to Deutsche Asset Management she worked for over 10 years in “Strategic Capital” a boutique Investment Bank across Corporate Finance, Debt Distribution and the Mutual Fund distribution desk. She brings with her over 15 years of Institutional Sales experience across Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Clients include top Corporate Houses, Financial Institutions and Banks across India. She is an MBA in Finance from Lucknow University.
×Mr. V.K. Khanna is Director-Finance of CapVeda Capital (India) Advisory Pvt. Ltd. He is a Science Graduate and a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of In-dia. He has over 26 years of experience in managing corporate finance, project manage-ment, financial planning and analysis, funds raising, taxation, audit and investor relations.
Prior to joining CapVeda he worked as CFO of Pyramid, Director Finance of Rolta Power Limited, Financial Controller & Head Investor Relations of Development Credit Bank Lim-ited and Vice President-Finance & Investor Relations of Rolta India Limited
